The toiletries war heats up at hotels

Toiletries used to be an afterthought for hotels. If they offered guests a generic shampoo and bar of soap, their obligation was met. That's no longer the case in a world in which boutique and lifestyle hotels are trying to infuse personality into every aspect of the guest experience.
